AirAsia.com: Taking Flight on Yahoo! Mobile

AirAsia called upon the expertise of Yahoo! to help develop a campaign to drive online and mobile traffic to the AirAsia mobile website where users can book their flights, check booking status and check out promotions. With this mobile campaign, AirAsia became the first-ever company on Yahoo! Mobile in Malaysia. In just 28 days, AirAsia garnered six million impressions on mobile phones across seven markets (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong). In addition to increasing overall awareness of the company and its flight promotions throughout the region, AirAsia enabled users to immerse themselves with the AirAsia brand.

Guinness: St. Patrick’s Day Campaign on Vodafone live! (UK campaign)

For their first-ever mobile advertising campaign, Guinness turned to Yahoo! and Carat to create and run an interactive brand awareness campaign across Vodafone live!. Not only did the ad result in 2.5 million impressions, but Guinness saw a high level of engagement among consumers – with a 12 percent increase in brand favorability and nine percent increase in purchase intent.

Citroen: C5 Launch Campaign on Vodafone live! (UK campaign)

To help launch the new Citroen C5 in April 2008, Citroen and OMD joined forces with Yahoo!’s mobile advertising team on the Vodafone live! Portal. The campaign results for the target audience were extremely positive with an 18 percent lift in brand favorability and a nine percent lift in purchase intent. Nike: Mobile Campaign for Nike Philippines

In conjunction with Nike Philippines’ launch of the Nike Sportswear Collection in August 2008, Nike focused on their icons of sport. The brand wanted to stimulate interest around their new mobile magazine, “Nike 8 Mobizine”, which highlighted the stories behind each of the eight icons. Nike called upon the expertise of Yahoo! to help drive traffic to the launch of the Nike 8 Mobizine. Over the course of the two week campaign, 22,000 clicks were sent to Nike Mobizine and a remarkable CTR of 5.09% was achieved on the very first day the banners ran across the Yahoo! Mobile Homepage.
